Narrative Description of Project

The Project which is based on FIDIC EPC/TURNKEY conditions was to upgrade existing airstrip at Kuajok to and 3.0km asphalt paved Airport including construction of a Terminal Building

Construction of Airside and Perimeter Fence to secure the airport with a chain linked fence.
Constructing a 2.5 km runway to Bitumen Standards
Constructing and Equipping Domestic Modern Terminal with a passenger through put of 160 Pax capable of processing B737 -300 at once.
Construction of a Retail Concourse area.
An apron with 6no. Stands
A perpendicular connection taxiway
Installation of a temporary Air Traffic Control Tower
Construction of a Vehicular Parking for 100 Cars
Construction of Airport Access Road
Sinking of a Borehole and installation of elevated water tank
Installation of a Thermal Power Station to suit the Airport needs
